The Reason for the Evening: Beyond the Line

Anyone who has never played in goal will never fully understand what it means to live beyond that white line.
Goalkeeping is a solitary, often ruthless role. When the team scores, the goalkeeper celebrates from afar; when the team makes a mistake, the goalkeeper is the last bastion left. We’re used to living with pressure, shouldering enormous responsibilities, and having to forget a mistake in a fraction of a second to be ready for the next save.

The “Night of the Number 1s” was created precisely for this reason: to give merit, dignity, and light to this extraordinary role. It was created to tell every goalkeeper—from the child who has just put on his or her first gloves to the adult who defends the category—that he or she is not alone.
After the success of the first edition, we chose Resilience as our guiding principle. Because a goalkeeper is, by definition, someone who falls and gets back up. Every time. On the field, after conceding a goal or a bad injury, and in everyday life, when facing the most difficult challenges.

This evening exists to celebrate this strength, to unite goalkeepers, families, coaches, and managers, and to rally around those who, like Melany’s Rainbow Association, transform hardship into hope every day.
Because a Number 1 may fly alone between the posts, but it is only together with his community that he can perform the greatest miracle.

Evening program

• 7:30 PM – Welcome and Reception. Gates open, registration, and creation of the “Number 1 Wall” (sign and hang your old glove at the entrance).
• 8:00 PM – Kick-off & Official Greetings. The evening will officially open with Nino Arcoleo and representatives of the local football institutions (FIGC, AIAC, SGS).
• 8:30 PM – Dinner & Sharing. Dinner service begins and tickets for the charity raffle open.
• 9:45 PM – Celebration: The Resilience Awards. Official awards presentation on stage:
  • “The Most Beautiful Flight” Award (Stories of Resilience)
  • “The Golden Gloves of Solidarity” Award (Educational Value)
• 10:15 PM – A Moment of the Heart & Official Photo. A special moment on stage dedicated to Melany’s Rainbow Association and the true values ​​that unite the world of Number 1s. Followed by a Historic Group Photo with all the goalkeepers in their official tracksuits.
• 10:45 PM – Lottery Drawing & Final Greetings. Prize drawing, final toast, and presentation of souvenirs to all families and goalkeepers.
